In memory of Josh Farney (11/17/1994 - 4/22/2019), these are the last songs he recorded in the weeks before his untimely passing, at the age of 24.

Josh was one of my closest friends. We had played in bands together over the years. He was one truest and most genuinely caring people whom I've ever met.

When he died, I gathered a collection of his music with the intent to release it as something of a living memorial, something that would provide at least some semblance of closure.

His mother gave me the smartphone that he had been using. It was on that phone that I discovered these recordings he made in the weeks prior to his death, along with his final wishes.

Up until that point, none of what was happening felt real. It all felt like a bad dream. But when I heard these songs, that's when it finally hit me...

I locked these recordings away for a while, saying to myself that no one should ever hear them. But over time, as I was working on other releases of Josh's older material, I found myself coming back to them.

A year and a half later, his mother and I have decided to release this album, in an effort to raise awareness on the subjects of depression, addiction, and suicide.
