After his last release - CHROME - Debonair DeVaughn declared that he wanted his next project to be a level-up both sonically and thematically.
With SS we experience more trunk-rattling jams, the soul-infused production mixed with DVN's smooth vocal inflections are as crisp and on-point as ever. "SIDESHOW" and "SUMMERTIME SHINE" are obvious standouts as singles, but please believe that is not where the bangers end; "MACK SESSIONS" will most definitely take you from wherever you're seated to the backseat of your granddaddy's cadillac - you'll probably even smell the leather.
"SPEED OF SOUND"'s pure intention is to destroy your eardrums while "EXPENSIVE HABIT" will have you feeling like you're walking into the governer's ball. From beginning to end, SS will have you prepped for a summer outside. You're welcome.
