Zero came out of that space between collapse and control. It’s got the backbone of old-school thrash but it’s more restrained, more reflective. The guitars drive like a storm you can’t outrun, but underneath it all are these subtle electronic drums pulsing through the mix, giving it this mechanical heartbeat that keeps everything moving.
I wanted it to sound heavy without being pure chaos — something that hits hard but still breathes. The riffs are thick and grounded, but there’s melody buried in the noise, a kind of beauty that only shows up when the world’s falling apart.
Lyrically, it’s about that moment when everything fades — when hope and ruin start to look the same. It’s the end of something, but also the start of whatever comes next. Zero isn’t about destruction for its own sake — it’s about the quiet after, when you realize you’re still here, still alive, still feeling the hum in your chest.
