Troye Sivan: "This is not something that I'm ashamed of and it's not something that anyone should have to be ashamed of."

Janet Mock: "When I think about my inspirations, I always think about LGBT folk who resisted and survived under such harsh circumstances."
Miss Major Griffin-Gracy: "What about the transgender people? What about the folks that were there that were fighting? You know, we were there - acknowledge that."
Janet Mock: "They have created a pathway for me to survive and resist and write myself into this story."

Gilbert Baker: "Yes, of course anyone can be an activist, but it's not - it's not easy. To whatever degree that people can be first of all honest with themselves - that's, that's the beginning of being an activist, is knowing who you are. You bet it's dangerous and that's why it takes a lot of love. I think you have to have people around you that can - you can't do it by yourself - you have to build bridges, you have to have a loving environment, loving friends, people that you trust - who support, to work together to achieve it."
