MACABRE by THE RED MOON MACABRE

The Red Moon Macabre "Macabre" is the first song I wrote back in 1989 as a gothic rock musician. This song was performed live during the early nineties, and I recorded several versions that have been lost throughout the years. While organizing photos, files, and memories from my deceased parents, I found the very first rendition of Macabre from late 1989 directly recorded into my father's Teac reel-to-reel machine. I used a Univox Mosrite-style guitar and bass that were my father's and my mother's Hammond drum machine, which she used playing organ back in the early 70s.

In jubilation of this rarity of a find, I recorded two new tracks about the rural countryside of my neck of the woods. When I resurrected The Red Moon Macabre in 2021, it began with recording Macabre and pausing for now with releasing the original 1989 recording. I cherish this symbolic gift with gratitude to my mother and father, who rest in peace. Hail and thank you to my family, friends, and fans of The Red Moon Macabre.
