There are two versions: a live studio take and a live field recording I did in a graveyard in the Smoky Hills. That's where grandpa and grandma live. Never had the chance to show them my music until that moment. That version has its own life... the wind, the trees, the quiet weight of the place. I felt it all.

The song’s about that tug-and-leave-you-hanging feeling. I wanted the music to carry that chill through every groove. Listen close, let it sink in, and maybe you’ll feel the same shiver I felt when I made it.
