Lately I’ve been busy,

Taking my problems out to fancy restaurants.

I wine them, and dine them,

Feed them all my time.

Cos everybody wants to be somebody,

But I feel better feeling ordinary.



You and me should go party,

Once in a little while.

We used to go dancing,

To feel just a little high.

We could go driving,
Gaze at the city lights,

Make a night of it, 
and watch the sun rise.



When I can’t find the money, 

You know i’ll try the most expensive wine.

Yeah i’ve been running every night.

I’ve never felt so low….
But I’ve never looked so fine.
