I don't care if anybody here remembers me
this is fine art, this is my scenery
intentional with a brush stroke honesty
and paint a self portrait like a Rembrandt

Now I'm talking to myself like a mad man but
I could never say the things that my pen can
gotta look into the mirror, self reflect
these days, I ain't doing too bad

Self doubt still crippling my mental state
and some of us never learned how to innovate
these days if it breaks we just throw it out
so why fix me

I'm just trying to keep it moving on the day to day
trying to put a little food up on my dinner plate
sitting back, trying to plot a course in the night
but I found who I am in the light of day

Damn, maybe just need a minute, and
maybe losing is really a part of winning
maybe one day I'll look back, reflect and
realise that pain is just a part of living

I don't really know the meaning of my life now
I paint an abstract picture when the lights out
I'd rather do it in the sun and make myself proud
and maybe then I'll find the thing I was living without
