Bogman by Tom Dyer
On March 9, 2024 I went to Ireland with my brother Bruce and his daughter Rosie.
On the 23rd, I got home at midnight. I woke up at 5AM and fourteen songs about our trip flew out of my brain in one hour. I fleshed them out over the next week or two and recorded twelve of them over the ensuing five months. This is one of the songs.

Museum of Archeology
Saw a lot of ancient artifacts
Stone, copper, bronze, iron, gold
Saw a lot crucifixes
And bunches of other Catholic stuff
Flints and hammers, swords and spears
But one thing most stuck out.

Three of you were in glass cases
A varied sample of remains
Reminding me of empty gloves
Your story is unknown
Seeing your bodies lying in a glass case
Seemed disrespectful to me
