Seem to imitate our crimes

We could bet it’s just gossip
Their songs swirls around
Making us dizzy in sound

Alone in the nightmare
Sharing the intimate air
They can’t help we cry
Our hearts, we fortify

Sit still with your doubt
As they come walkabout
Holy breath Amen
Visiting now and then

The quiet grumbles end
And appeased they descend
Get up model their struts
Pirouette around donuts

Hope and fear is right here
And the morning sun with cheer
Nowhere to go and hide
From the dreams unsatisfied

Humankind’s best friend
Is awaiting our ascend
If your nose is on the roam
