ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Tsundere Violence Archive is an official account of the label Tsundere Violence, offering selected re-issues of the label's older releases (specifically those released prior to NEW ERA 2020). Although all of these releases, and 1000+ more, are available on Archive ( archive.org/download/tsundere-violence ), I have decided to re-issue some stuff onto Bandcamp. This is to help show these older works for the modern internet, as well as to help curate things and direct folks to older releases that I recommend. Tsundere Violence has been in operation since 2012, and there are over 1000 releases from the old days. I will periodically re-issue things in batches of four. Please follow this account if you want these updates. All background info and blurbs are written by Himeko Katagiri.
There are multiple things to take note of. First and foremost, the warning at the top of the page, these releases are from a very different cultural period of the internet, and likely do not reflect the ideologies of the current label, artists, and so on. In addition to this, there are other things to be aware of. These were all originally published using the free file host, Mediafire. Back in those days, space was limited and downloads were slower, so the vast majority of music was officially distributed as lossy MP3s (sometimes not even 320 kbps). In almost all cases, I do not have access to the lossless WAV files, or they're long gone and no longer exist, so don't expect this to be a lossless copy. Cover arts were often smaller back then too, so they might've been resized for Bandcamp, original image files are included in the download for such cases. Other small changes might've occurred as well.
As for supporting, releases here are NYP. Making it free download only hurts visibility on this platform, so that's why it's NYP. Money given to this Archive account is seen as donations to the label for continued operations. If the artist themself has their own Bandcamp page I will link it somewhere above so that you can support them directly. Keep in mind though, a lot of this music hasn't been distributed to Bandcamp prior, or the artists may not have accounts (or even be active anymore). There are many artists who have simply vanished off the face of the earth.
For databases such as Discogs and RYM. Tsundere Violence Archive is NOT a label/sub-label of itself, the label should remain Tsundere Violence. This isn't a sub-label, this is just a different page as Bandcamp doesn't allow for segregated pages on a single profile. The original release date is not the date for this re-issue, the actual date will appear on this Bandcamp page. Catalogue number is the same as the original release.
