With a sound like an echo from a forgotten time, but one the soul still remembers, Finnish multidisciplinary artist VENIOR is releasing “The Fall” - the first song from her new album. It’s inviting the listener on a deep journey back to the Earth. Her powerful voice moving like ghosts through veils of reality, an ancient whisper as our feet touch the bare, raw soil. Walking on a wasteland, finding bones that remind us of who we are. What have we done to the Earth? Where do we go from here? As we fall from the illusion of separation, there is nowhere to land but back on the Earth. Letting the wind carry our prayers, for the flowers in our hearts to bloom again.

Humanity has been rising. Rising higher, above nature, above the Earth. But we have come to a turning point where we are starting to realise that the skyscrapers we built are not that stable when the Earth is rumbling beneath us. Now we fall. Realising that everything we need to live healthy lives depends on the wellbeing of the living world around and inside us. The more we tried to rise above the soil we stand on, a part of our soul died. Because it can not be nourished without connecting to the land we live on. Without our roots growing deep in the soil we are unstable. Now its time we fall from the illusion. And land with our feet firmly on the ground.
