Sól by Vingnir

Sól is the much-revered goddess of the sun, and she was worshiped widely throughout Scandinavia. Her worship has ancient roots, and extends far back into the bronze age. I wanted to honor her by making music with natural instruments like the shamanic drum, bones and walnut rattle.

Vingnir is a French artist, making traditional Viking music, using instruments of the Viking Age such as a tagelharpa, war horn, shaman drum and many other instruments.
