Marcescent by Colin Cheney

Made in the winter of quarantine, Marcescent is an attempt to orchestrate the wild gyre of uncertainty about and within us. Fragments of bird calls, fleeting bits of melody, analog transmissions from ours and imagined worlds: a slowing down and opening up. It’s a record interested in what is shaken loose within the listener: and what she holds onto after the storms.

Ambient and experimental but deeply lyrical, Marcescent is a response to all the signals that we pick up from each other, other worlds.
