Lost Fragment by Vosto
The PORTAL has opened and I welcome you on this new journey.
These are a collection of tracks that I composed not with a unifying concept in mind. but in this amalgamation of different emotions I think you can see who I am and maybe you resonate too with what I feel.
My synths are alive. They morph into different expressions not sticking to a locked style.
In this album I go through different forms of thought, from a positive adventure start with "PRESS START" to the trenches with "Shoot To Kill" to the hacker vibe of "Cracktro Force" to the deepest of my emotions with "Lost Fragment" and "Come With Me" to my nod to the heroes that gave their life to save others in "Chernobyl" to science fiction darksynth action in "Hull Breached" and to the calm night closing atmosphere of "Spakoynaya Noch", it's all there for you to experience.
You will hear me sing with my own voice in 8 tracks out of 17. I may not be a trained professional singer but I try to sing with sincere emotion. I've tried to find vocalists but they are unreliable and feel out of place with my sound. Somehow with my own voice it feels more in place even if there are some imperfections.
This album is a mix of science fiction ideas, to real world feelings and a desire to fight for truth and freedom amongst the chaos.
As you listen to the album you will discover different music genre aesthetics. You may find yourself listening to a retro gaming influence one moment to hacking the system in another, to then be suprised by a post-apocalyptic piano or some gloomy post punk track in a foreign mysterious language.
There is no particular story but instead it is more like a dream where you are carried through different scenes that are unrelated yet somehow they feel like they belong to one another. We are still human, we can still dream and that's something worth fighting for.
