“Darkness” is about the urge to change something to be with yourself and the world at peace again.
The song outlines the dystopia of a hectic society that is putting more and more pressure on the people, establishing new rules and codes of conduct by forgetting the single human. This results in the desire to break the cycle and to do the right thing even if the consequences are not predictable yet.
