Paperboy by Mountain Park

This song was recorded from a nearly-broken card table in a garage in a basement. Most tracks were recorded in one take then were cobbled together myself with my limited production knowledge.
Written less than a month before we first started out, "Paperboy" was a very important song to us as a band. Its combination of simplicity, lyrical relatability, and nonchalant emotionality gave us the confidence we needed to keep going and hone our skills. Nearly 2 years later, we finally started recording. After some trial and error, we figured out how to do it correctly (for the most part) and decided "Paperboy" would be our first release. After all, without this song, we might've given up early.
