An ancient civilization renowned for their advanced architectural engineering had created their masterpiece: A colossal, spiraling tower that was so massive that at certain times throughout the day it would blot out the sun for miles.
Filling the megalith with the entirety of its people they but forgot one important variable. They had mastery over stone but none for the soil they built their history upon. Built at the edge of a sea cliff they would soon understand the magnitude of their folly.
The earth beneath them cracks and shatters. This monument to their ego splinters and crumbles. The tower that housed their entire population plummets into the frigid, unforgiving sea below.

Follow their doomed fate; from cataclysm to the descent towards their abyssal graves. It is the very thing that ends all civilizations eventually, the thing that will vanish us all from the records of time: Hubris
