Bucket from Favourites by Dream Poppies
One of the earliest Dream Poppies pop songs that stands the test of time. A nod to Brisbane’s hot, humid and stormy weather, Bucket featured on the first ever demo, the Haze cassette, and this version from the Don’t Go EP. It featured on Channel 9’s Wonderworld, with a clip recorded in Highgate Hill.

Creating their own brand of indie pop, the Dream Poppies have been described as saccharine piss-take power pop, edgy loud-quiet girly guitar pop and catchy melodic fuzz pop.
The band formed in Brisbane in October 1990 and released 6 EPs and an album and featured on many Australian compilation CDs. The band played major music festivals including SXSW 1997 and a show at CBGBs in NYC.
